Ron’s next Toronto concert!

Manfield & Cary Orchestra to rock Lula Lounge on final Canadian Date

Don’t miss this final Canadian engagement of Pianist/Composer/Singer Ron Manfield and the 18-piece Bob Cary Orchestra – at Lula Lounge. They thrilled the house on July 22, now they’re back.

“I was blown away by the big lush sound,”  comments jazz enthusiast Terry Donohue.

“It was like being at a Count Basie concert,” adds film producer Wayne Johnson.

Manfield and Cary have something special planned for this last show  before upcoming dates in New York and Chicago. “I’m not letting on, but Bob and I are cooking something up. It’s going to be a whole lot of fun,” Manfield says.

The highlight of the July 22 was crooner Manfield’s performance of the ballad he penned “All for Julie” accompanied by the 18-piece pit band with a unique sound, under legendary trumpeter and band leader Bob Cary.

“All for Julie,” forms the basis of the story behind a dramatic feature film in development for which Manfield is producer and writing the score. “It’s a love-story drama that has echoes of great tragedy,” he comments. The screenplay, based upon Manfield’s original idea, was written by multiple-award winning TV producer and documentary maker Richard M. Landau.

October 21 concert tickets are available online through Eventbrite.com or at the door for $20
